New 2014 Hero Karizma R and ZMR Launch Soon; Prices Revealed

We have reported in detail about the new 2014 Hero Karizma R and ZMR. Now, Hero has dispatched the new Karizma R and ZMR to its dealerships and we have some images of the new bikes from the dealerships.

The 2014 Karizma siblings get refreshed exteriors and minor tweaks to their powerplants. Powering the Karizma R is an air-cooled, single pot, four-stroke, 223 cc engine. For the 2014 model,  this engine now produces 19.2 PS of max power and 19.35 Nm of peak torque instead of 17.2 PS and 18.35 Nm of torque which the engine produced for the outgoing model. Due to the power bump of 2 PS, the bike now hits 60 kmph from standstill in 3.6 seconds, which is a 0.2 second improvement over the outgoing model.

Powering the Karizma ZMR is the same engine but in its fuel-injected avatar. For the 2014 model, this engine churns out 20 PS of max power and 19.7 Nm of peak torque. The outgoing model churned out 17.8 PS and 18.35 Nm of peak torque.

The 2014 Hero Karizma is available for immediate delivery at some dealerships. Depending on the color availability, some dealerships are promising deliveries in around 8-10 days.

  1. Ha ha ha…. dis bike is a shame for indiamsports bike… no mono socks… rear tire is annoying.. n d front face of d byk looks bigger dan d body… bad work by hero designers…even I can design a gd bike for hero motocorp..bad job

  2. Cmon bro…u call this a good looking bike..?? Seriously..?? Its one of the most ugliest bikes iv seem in recent times. I first saw this bike at this year’s Auto Expo in Delhi… nd it was an absolute eyesore at the expo. Visitors at the expo were literally laughing at this bike nd even the models sitting on this bike felt so ashamed at that. Hero should hire good designers and get rid of the present designing team which is coming up with such lame designs. Come on Hero.. ur scooty looks better than this.

  4. Saw the new ZMA at showroom here at Virar(Thane dist.) It looks awsm a beig n beautiful beast, believe me guys its realy a huge bike, classic ZMA looks smaller infront of this one, they quoted me around 92000/- for it and the dont yet have the ZMR but quoted me around 1.15 for it, booking has already started for both
