The much publicized duo is not only headed to India but will also be produced in our country! This would ensure an ultra competitive pricing for the new bikes and the new Street 750 and 500 will soon become the easiest ways to enter the coveted Harley club.
The new bikes will be built at Harley’s Haryana based production unit in India. Heavy localization would translate into a price figure of approx INR 5.5. lakhs for the 2014 Harley Davidson Street 750 and INR 4.25 lakhs for the Street 500.
Both the new Street 750 and Street 500 are built on new platforms and come equipped with new age engines.
The 2014 Harley Davidson Street 750 will be powered by an approx 750cc motor that would have a max power of more than 52bhp. The engine has a V Twin layout and benefits from liquid cooling and fuel injection.The engine comes mated to a 6 speed manual ‘box and the new mo’bike rides 2 inches higher than the Iron 883.
The new 2014 Harley Davidson Street 750 will be available in two paint options- red and black.
