The collaboration between MV Agusta and designer Simone D’Auria continues this year resulting in the 2013 Brutale California in D’Auria’s signature timber inspired styling called ‘Wood Vibrations’. Based on the 2012 MV Agusta Brutale 1090 R with unaltered underpinnings, the 2013 California model comes clad with carbon fibre wrapped in a dark walnut wooden finish with detailing done in MV Agusta’s traditional blue and gold colours.
Simone D’Auria had created a similar special edition last year called the 2012 Brutale California, albeit in a red walnut finish exhibited at St. Moritz Arts Masters- a convention showcasing works of art and culture on shores of Lake St. Moritz in Switzerland.
Similar to Simone D’Auria’s last year creation, the one off 2013 Brutale California ‘Wood Vibrations’ would be inviting attention as a museum exhibit and art galleries than gracing a celebrity’s garage space.
