Roof of Africa organisers has appointed lubricants specialist, MOTUL, as the official lubricant partner for the Lesotho-based off road motor cycle event. The Roof of Africa will take place from 3-6 December 2014, to better accommodate the international race calendar and attract an increased number of global riders.
The partnership with MOTUL is strategic to this vision, given the French company’s reputation as one of the leading specialists in motorcycle lubricants, coupled with the fact that Roof of Africa is considered Africa’s pre-eminent motor cycle event. From MOTUL’s perspective, the partnership ties in with the company’s intent to further grow its African market share.
Steven Lurie, MOTUL’s Business Development Manager for Southern Africa said, “We believe this partnership with the Roof of Africa will not only work for us from a business perspective, but it will also have other positive knock-on effects for the event and Lesotho. Our expansion in Africa, coupled with our links to international riders and teams means we can be a truly global partner and we are hoping to bring more international flavour to the event.”

This famous event, now in its 47th year, generates significant international tourism for the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.
