MG launches The New Comet Gamer Edition!

MG Motor India has launched the Comet Gamer Edition in the market. The carmaker has priced this variant at Rs. 65,000 higher than the respective variants. In this edition, the carmaker offers a new design theme and the addition of new features.

The Gamer Edition is a new offering from the carmaker. This design theme was created in collaboration with one of India’s top gamers, Naman Mathur, also known as Mortal.

The MG Comet Gamer Edition gets purple accents on the wheel, fog lamps, and a side profile. Also, the car gets some stickers and a blue paint scheme on the bonnet and the roof. All the design elements involve the usage of recycled plastic material.

The design theme includes a mixture of light and dark themes. It also includes the shadow on the dark chrome and metal finish. With these exterior modifications, the new Gamer Edition will stand apart from the crowd.

MG Comet Gamer Edition: Interior and Features

Like the exterior, the design theme is carried forward to the interior as well. The new MG Comet Gamer Edition gets a white interior with purple accents on the dashboard and door trims.

The interior of the new Comet Gamer Edition includes a neon design theme with purple accents on door trims and gear lever. The car gets several unique features such as Gamer Themed Seat Cover, and the Steering Wheel with Blue surrounds. Also, the carmaker is offering purple graphics on the floor mats.

With all these elements, the interior of the MG Comet Gamer Edition is ready to appeal to the GenZ audience.

MG Comet Gamer Edition: Powertrain and Pricing Details

Mechanically, there is no change in the powertrain of the MG Comet Gamer Edition. The MG Comet gets a 17.3kWh IP67-rated battery pack. The car gets a single electric motor making 42hp of power and 110nm of torque output. The power is channeled to the rear wheels via an Automatic Transmission. With this powertrain, MG claims that the driving range of the Comet is 230km.

MG Comet offers the Gamer Edition package with almost every variant. This package can be availed with the variants: Pace, Play, and Plush. As per the carmaker, buyers can opt for the Gamer Edition package by paying Rs. 65,000 extra over the price of the existing trim of the Comet.
