Mercedes-Benz unveils new V-Class range: Gets new Design!

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated V-Class range for 2024. In this update, the German carmaker has made several changes to its design and styling. Moreover, the V-Class gets some new variants and gets loaded with features and the latest technology.

The exterior design of the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class

The German carmaker has made numerous changes to the design of the V-Class range. For starters, it gets a large grille with chrome slats, updated bumpers, and new LED headlights. The carmaker has added some sleek character lines to the V-Class range.

Meanwhile, the side profile of the new V-Class looks sleek and gets aerodynamic alloy wheels. The carmaker is offering multiple choices of wheel sizes including 17, 18, and 19-inch. At the rear, the new V-Class gets a rear windshield with curved window edges and new LED taillights.

While the electric variant gets a different grille with a large Mercedes logo. It also gets the chrome trim and a different design for the alloy wheels.

Interior and Features of the New Mercedes-Benz V-Class

Like the exterior, the new V-Class gets a new interior with premium silver inserts on the dashboard. The layout of the dashboard looks sleek and upmarket. It gets the new twin-display layout with one for the digital instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system. However, the size of each screen is 12.3 inches.

The German carmaker has updated the infotainment system with the latest MBUX software. Meanwhile, the central console of the V-Class gets an optional wireless charging pad.

Additionally, the new V-Class gets a heated steering wheel, sliding doors, push-button start, ambient lighting, and dimmed rear lighting for an improved night driving experience. The carmaker has added some advanced features like Attention Assist, 360-degree camera, Brake Assist with cross-traffic alert, Blind-spot Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Park Assist, etc.

Powertrain Options, Variants, and Launch

As of now, the carmaker has not revealed the details of powertrain options. However, we expect that the new V-Class range will get new petrol and diesel engines with a mild-hybrid system.

While the electric variant of the V-Class might get a powerful electric motor and a bigger battery pack.

Meanwhile, the new V-Class is available in Marco-Polo, Style, Avantgarde, and Exclusive variants. But the electric version of the V-Class is known as EQV and gets only one variant, the Avantgarde.

We expect that Mercedes-Benz will launch the new V-Class range in India by the end of 2023 or starting of 2024. After the launch, the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class will take on the likes of the Toyota Velfire.
