Maserati will showcase its all new SUV at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed and Moving Motor Show weekend. Tagged as the Levante, the SUV made it debuts at the Geneva Motor Show and was launched last month at an event in London, the Levante is Maserati’s first luxury SUV and encompasses the design, performance and exclusivity that has been central to all the brand’s models since its inception in 1914.

The Levante will be on display in the Moving Motor Show pavilion and will make its first dynamic runs up Goodwood’s famous 1.16-mile hillclimb in the ‘First Glance’ Class during the Festival of Speed on Friday-Sunday. Meanwhile, Maserati’s flagship Quattroporte will also be on display at the Moving Motor Show while the popular Ghibli will be available to experience first-hand in passenger rides on Thursday.

The Levante, which completes a model line-up that allows Maserati to cover every element of the global luxury market, will be one of many brand new cars that will make their debut at this year’s Goodwood event.

The Levante SUV draws power from a 3.0 litre engine each for petrol as well as diesel with the former coming in two states of tune. The petrol engine is available in two states of tune. The first state of tune delivers 350 hp and 500 Nm of torque while sprinting from 0-100 kmph in 6 seconds whereas the second state of tune produces 430 hp and 580 Nm of torque and covers naught to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds. The diesel engine produces a power output of 275 hp and 600 Nm of torque and can go from 0-100 kmph in 6.9 seconds.

The Maserati Levante is expected to make its India debut next year.
