Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the imminent launch of their all-new S-Cross. This new premium crossover will likely be launched in August 2015. Maruti Suzuki wants to make a lasting impression on customers who are interested in buying the S-Cross. For this very purpose, the Indian carmaker has decided to open a new kind of showroom, one they refer to as “NEXA”.

NEXA stands for New Exclusive Automotive Experience; this is a philosophy that Maruti Suzuki wants to follow for their premium offerings in India. The company aims to set up a unique experience for its customers on the pillars of “Pampering, Innovation, Global Standards and Reliability.” The carmaker hopes to provide all this and more at their NEXA outlets. Maruti Suzuki’s NEXA showroom will be exclusively the prowling ground for the carmaker’s premium offerings; one of which will be the upcoming S-Cross.

According to Maruti Suzuki, NEXA will impart a truly special feeling to the customers. The premium showroom will feature superior decor, ambience, and most importantly, a more global and pampered customer service. The Indian carmaker is aiming to strike a premium first impression; luxury lounges and a slew of infotainment systems will be available to keep the customers entertained. The customers visiting NEXA will be attended to by a personal relationship manager, who will assist in the purchasing process. According to Maruti Suzuki, the relationship manager will be the single point of contact for the customer. The manager will ensure a hassle-free experience, be it the buying decision, or service related queries of the customer.

Maruti Suzuki highlighted some key features about the NEXA, and these include:

  • Handpicked staff from premium carmakers’ retail outlets (Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW etc.)
  • Staff have been specially trained at JW Marriott on etiquettes, hospitality etc.
  • All-black interior decor with premium leather-upholstered lounging area

NEXA showrooms will also showcase a wall-mounted display that will be connected to iPads. These will provide the customer with information related to the automotive industry. New applications for smartphones will also aid in cutting down the paperwork, further simplifying the whole buying process. If upon entering a NEXA showroom, a customer wishes to view competition models, a touch on an iPad will bring up information on the wall-mounted displays.

Maruti Suzuki promises to extend the same high-end experience even on the after-sales front. The customer can either opt to have a mobile workshop van visiting his/her home, a pick & drop service or the visit to a service centre. By the end of 2015, over 100 NEXA showrooms will be opened in more than 30 cities across India.
