The all new Maruti Suzuki Swft Dzire has taken off well in the car market and main reason for it is the excellent Value for Money proposition it offers. Back when the largest selling manufacturer in the country was launching this car, it was made clear that the prices announced were introductory and the car would become dearer by 20-25k after some time.
The good news here is that the car is doesn’t becomes costlier by about 25k but the bad news is that the car does gets dearer by about INR 12000. Maruti sells about 15000 units of this car every month and this price increase was sure to come our way. The new Dzire is powered by the popular 1.2 K series Petrol & 1.3 DDiS Diesel engines and rivals cars like Tata Manza and Mahindra Verito.
But won't they be more harsher for drivers in cars coming the other way…? Especially in a country like ours where people just love to drive with High beams on even on a brightly lit City Road…
