The Maruti Suzuki eVX is scheduled for its global debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi from January 17–22, 2025. This follows its initial concept reveal at the 2023 Auto Expo and its nearly production-ready showcase earlier this year. The debut has been delayed from its original schedule due to various issues.

The eVX will be manufactured in India with an annual production target of 150,000 units, primarily for export markets. Initial launches will focus on Europe and Japan.
Autocar India reports that a senior Maruti Suzuki executive has confirmed the announcement at the Auto Expo, now integrated with the Bharat Mobility Expo, with an early 2025 launch in Europe as the priority.

The eVX will utilize a new skateboard platform and offer two battery options, delivering up to 550 km of range with single or dual-motor configurations. Expected features include dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, a head-up display, and ADAS.
Based on recent spy shots, the SUV is expected to measure 4,300 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height. The eVX will also have a Toyota variant launching shortly after. In India, it will compete with the Tata Curvv.ev and the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, positioning itself as a significant player in the expanding electric SUV market.
