Maruti Debuts Updated 2023 Super Carry Minitruck

The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki has announced the launch of the upgraded 2023 version of its mini truck – the Super Carry. The Super Carry is a light commercial vehicle that debuted back in 2016 and marked Maruti Suzuki’s entry into the country’s commercial vehicle space.

Being a practical offering, the Super Carry is used across multiple applications including e-commerce, courier, FMCG, and goods distribution amongst others.

2023 Super Carry: Mechanical Upgrades

The 2023 Super Carry now draws power from Maruti’s 1.2-litre K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT 4-cylinder motor that now delivers improved performance with a maximum power of 80.7PS @ 6000rpm and 104.4Nm of maximum torque @ 2900rpm in the petrol model.

The new engine comes coupled with an upgraded five-speed manual transmission. This offers improved gradeability thus enabling customers to drive up steeper gradients than earlier.

2023 Super Carry: New Variant & Additional Features

The mini-truck is available in a total of 4 variants viz. CNG Deck, Gasoline Deck, Gasoline Cab Chassis, & a newly introduced CNG Cab Chassis variant.

The New Super Carry is equipped with a host of safety features such as front disc brakes, reverse parking sensors, and seat belt reminders. Now it also comes along with a new engine immobilizer system. Maruti Suzuki also promises better driving & ride comfort in the updated model thanks to a larger steering wheel and smooth car-like gear shifts.

The new Super Carry continues to offer spacious interiors with a flat seat design for overall comfort during driving and intermittent breaks. Further, the Super Carry S-CNG variant maintains its unique proposition of having a 5L emergency petrol tank, offering peace of mind to customers.

Maruti’s versatile mini-truck is sold exclusively through the brand’s 370+ commercial outlets spread across more than 270 cities.
