Exclusively created for the XUV500 and Rexton owners, Mahindra Purple Club is a premium and unique ownership experience that offers personalised services and privileges. Members of this exclusive club recently experienced the thrill of the world famous Madras Motor Race Track in Chennai, at the 3rd edition of the ‘Purple Club Torque Day’. This experiential drive saw more than 150 participants with 51 XUV500s and Rextons scorching the track. The idea was to celebrate the spirit of thrill and performance of the premium Mahindra SUVs – Rexton and XUV500. The ‘Purple Club Torque Day’ was conceived by Mahindra to provide a unique motorsports experience to Purple Club members. In addition, Purple Club members also experienced fast flying laps of the circuit with Amittrajit Ghosh, the reigning Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) winner and his co-driver, Ashwin Naik.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Nayer, Chief Marketing Officer, Automotive Division, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. said, “This was a special opportunity for the customers of our premium SUVs to get a first-hand experience of driving their vehicles on the Madras Motor Race Track. In keeping with our promise of providing unique & exclusive experiences to our Purple Club members, this event was a once in a life time opportunity for the XUV500 & Rexton owners to get an adrenaline pumping drive.”

Nayer further added, “The idea behind this drive experience was to propagate the outstanding driving abilities and the advanced technology features of the Rexton and the XUV500, while providing unlimited fun to our privileged Purple Club members.
