The good folks at Mahindra are busy laughing their way to the bank, all thanks to the phenomenal response their latest offering, the XUV500, has been getting. However, this certainly does no means that the guys at M&M are not working on making the rest of the line up popular. Now, the company plans to launch the facelifted version of its popular MUV-the Xylo. This launch will happen as early as on 8th of this month. Following this event will be the launch of the 5-door, mini-Xylo hatchback.
It may be noted that it will be the first time that the Xylo will be receiving any updates since its launch. Our sources reveal that the facelifted Xylo is already at stock yards of few dealers and this simply means that the production of the updated version commenced about a month back. The Xylo refresh gets newly styled headlights, bumpers, grille and hood.It appears that M&M is trying to give the MUV a family look by injecting some styling that has taken inspiration from the flagship XUV500.
Beneath the revised hood are the familiar 112BHP 2.2-liter mEagle and 95BHP 2.2-liter DI engine. A new 4 wheel drive variant is rumored to make an appearance and might be labelled as E9.
