Mahindra Scorpio N Deliveries To Begin On This Date

Mahindra has announced that the deliveries for the new Scorpio N will begin on the 26th of September. The top-end Z8L variant is prioritized more in production when compared to the other variants. The company has a target to deliver 20,000 units this year. Mahindra recently announced the prices for the automatic and 4×4 variants of the SUV. The introductory price ranges from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom). These prices will only be applicable for the first 25000 bookings. The bookings will commence on the 30th of July from 11 am onwards.

The Scorpio-N automatic comes in Z4, Z8, and Z8L variants for petrol whereas the diesel automatic is available in Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8 L variants. The petrol engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter Mstallion unit with 200 hp and 380 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is a 2.2-liter Mhawk unit that is available in two states of tune. The base Z2 gets 132 hp and 300 Nm of torque whereas the higher variants deliver 175 hp and 400 nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Scorpio also offers 4×4 as an option which comes with Mahindra’s 4xplor system which comes with Terrain modes.

The Scorpio N comes with dual LED projector units and dynamic turn indicators. The lower half of the bumper comes with a silver skid plate and fog lamps surrounded by C-shaped LED DRLs. it also comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels and it gets rear disc brakes as well. The rear gets the vertical LED taillamps. The tailgate opens sideways. The lower half of the bumper gets extensive black cladding as well as some chrome detailing. The reversing lights have been placed lower down in the bumper.

The interior comes in dual-tone black and brown theme with extensive use of silver finish for certain parts such as the door grab handles and the A/C vents surrounding. Features includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that runs on the Adrenox system paired with Sony’s 12-speaker premium sound system which also features roof-mounted speakers for a surround sound experience. It also comes with built-in Amazon Alexa and what3words.
