“Our application was chosen out of a total of 40 entries from leading organisations across Asia. Of these, 22 were shortlisted, with 12 then identified as finalists. Each entry was evaluated by an esteemed panel of judges, comprising of leading luminaries from industry and academia, on the basis of five parameters, which includes urgency around a vision for change, taking directed steps towards operationalising the change, designing a communication strategy, managing initial resistance and institutionalising the change.

Mahindra Rise was acknowledged as the best project across the Asia Pacific region and as an excellent example of conceptualising and executing a cultural change management framework which may serve as a model for many to emulate,” said Prince Augustin, Executive Vice President, Group Human Capital and Leadership Development, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

Mahindra Rise was unveiled in 2011 as the Mahindra Group’s new brand positioning. It represented a new chapter in the history of the brand and sought to communicate the new face of this diversified federation of companies with its increasingly global ambitions. The spirit of Rise is based on the three pillars of Accepting No Limits, Driving Positive Change and Alternative Thinking. The project was deployed across the Mahindra Group which consists of over 100 companies and more than 1,60,000 employees across the globe.

This is the first time Mahindra as a Group which spans everything from Aerospace to Automotive, from farm equipment to IT and logistics, will communicate with one brand voice, one face and one ‘Mahindra’ core purpose.
