Mahindra Mojo made its public debut in 2010 when the company unveiled the motorcycle along with a commuter product, the Stallio. However, because of technical difficulties, the company could not launch the motorcycle then.

This year, Mahindra introduced a reworked Mojo at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi. Since then, we have witnessed dozens of spy images of the motorcycle being tested. But now, the Mojo is nearing its launch as the company showcased the motorcycle at a dealer meet.

Mahindra Mojo is powered by a 295cc, four stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine with Dual Overhead Camshaft (DOHC). The engine is capable of producing maximum power of 27 bhp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 25Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6 speed gearbox.

Mahindra is offering this product to take on the likes of Suzuki Inazuma and KTM Duke. Mahindra has loaded the Mojo with premium accessories such as upside down suspensions, daytime running LED lights and LED tail lamps. The motorcycle will sport front and rear disc brakes. A dual exhaust was also spotted in number of pictures. The Mojo will come with Pirelli Sport Demon tyres.

On board, the Mojo has an analogue tachometer along with digital speedometer, fuel meter and trip meter.

  1. Hi Satadal,
Thank you for pointing that out, but nowhere have we mentioned it was unveiled to the public at the Auto Expo in 2010. However, a reworked version was displayed at the Auto Expo in 2014.
Your comments are valued though, do keep them coming.

  2. Correction.

The Mojo was unveiled to the media on Sep 10, 2010 in Mumbai and NOT at the 2010 Auto Expo in Delhi
