Keonigsegg recently confirmed the debut of the Agera RS at the Geneva Motor Show recently. Now, the Swedish hypercar maker has announced plans to introduce a mysterious Regera at the Geneva Motor Show happening next month.
The company has been coy on the details about the Regera, but since they are referring to the model as a “megacar”, we can safely assume that the Regera will produce at least 1 megawatt (1,341 bhp / 986 kW) of power.
If you might remember, Koenigsegg had also referred to the One:1 as the “world’s first megacar.” Powering the One :1 is a twin-turbo 5.0-liter V8 engine pumps out 1,341 bhp (986 kW) of max power and 1,371 Nm (1,011 lb-ft) of torque. The One: 1 completes the run from 0-400 km/h (0-248 mph) in approximately 20 seconds.
