Kia Motors has decided to discontinue Its flagship model Kia Carnival MPV, Probably due to stricter BS6 phase 2 emission regulations. It was first showcased in 2020 and released later in the year and globally was known as third-gen carnival. Now globally the fourth gen of the Carnival has been released for quite some time, while India was still getting the old third gen variants which was released globally back in 2014. Carnival created its own niche segment of premium MPV, and was quite popular amongst people who wanted value, luxury and space.
We have no official word from Kia if they will bring the fourth gen Carnival in India. Yet we believe there was enough buzz around the old vehicle that Kia must be is considering to bring the new one sometime in the future.
