Jeep has unveiled its smallest SUV, the Avenger. This SUV features the company’s first BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle) architecture with an FWD drivetrain. However, the Jeep might introduce the AWD, ICE, and Hybrid variants in the future. The brand has plans to launch 4 more BEVs by 2025 and will go fully electric by 2030.


Aesthetics and Design
The Jeep Avenger SUV boasts a classic and funky design with a boxy silhouette. There are certain EV elements in the SUV such as the blank 7-slat grille with e-moniker. At the front, this SUV features LED headlights with integrated DRLs, front parking sensors, massive air dams, fog lamps, etc.
The funky profile of this SUV is further enhanced by the flared wheel arches, 16-inch dual-tone alloys, and rear door handles on the window. The rear profile of this SUV comprises X-shaped LED taillights, a spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, a fat rear bumper, etc.

Interior and Features
In terms of interior front, the Jeep Avenger SUV features a neatly laid-out black interior with some yellow elements. Jeep claims that the interior of the new Avenger SUV is spacious and practical. The dashboard features a 10.25-inch infotainment display with connectivity features like Jeep Uconnect, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, etc.
Moreover, the manufacturer has brimmed this SUV with plenty of features like ADAS, a powered tailgate, and multi-color ambient lightning. Other features include the power-adjustable seats with massage function, 360-degree camera, drive modes, fully digital instrument cluster, etc.
The Electric Powertrain
Jeep Avenger SUV features the company’s first Battery Electric Vehicle powertrain setup. The setup comprises a 54kWh battery pack and a single electric motor churning out 154hp and 260nm of output. The brand claims that this SUV can be charged from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes with a 100kW charger. The Avenger SUV has a claimed WTLP range of 400kms on a single charge which can be extended to 550kms. The SUV has driving modes like Normal, Eco, Sport, Snow, Mud, and Sand in 4 variants: Avenger, Longitude, Altitude, and Summit.
India debut
Currently, Jeep has not clarified any update on the launch of Avenger in India. However, it is expected that the SUV might enter the market soon. Once it is launched, the SUV would face competition from Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, etc.
