Back in 1989, Lexus came out with a TV ad for its LS 400 sedan. The ad depicted the car traveling at close to 220km/h, albeit on a dyno and with 15 champagne glasses stacked over each other. Impressively, none of the champagne glasses fell from the stack.
Now, an owner of a much more modern an advanced Lexus LS 460 tried to replicate the experiment with his car, and failed. Lexus took note, and did the same experiment, this time in a garage to make it look more realistic. And guess what, they succeeded again.
