The first generation of M6 came out way back in 1983 and since then, it has been the flagship sports car from the Bavarian manufacturer. I have some fond memories of piloting the last generation of M6 on a well paved 6 lane road. That car is a perfect recipe for having some serious fun without terrorizing road users like you would if you are piloting a Lambo.

Our sources reveal that there is a fair possibility of the car getting a 4.4 liters V8 twin turbo with twenty horses more for the upcoming four door BMW M6 Sedan’s engine.  The flagship sportscar will share the seven-speed DCT gearbox with the M5 F10

The images of this car were recently released by the Bavarian manufacturer and like we had hoped, the car has a CF roof, as seen on the last generation M6 Coupe. On the inside, the car continues to have typical Bimmer dash layout with high quality materials and centrally situated iDrive interface. Here, we bring to you, the picture gallery of the new M6 Coupe/Cabriolet. ENJOY!
