Hyundai’s latest update introduces a game-changing element to the Venue lineup, specifically the 1.0L turbo petrol variants. Now, drivers can opt for a 6-speed manual transmission (MT) in lieu of the 6-speed auto-clutch manual transmission (ACMT), providing a more engaging driving experience.
Additionally, the Venue N Line’s starting price has been revamped, becoming even more competitive with the inclusion of the 6-speed manual transmission.
ADAS in B2-Segment
What sets the updated Hyundai Venue apart is its distinction as the first B2-segment SUV to offer Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The suite includes forward collision warning and avoidance assist, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, high beam assist, and leading vehicle departure alert.

While Hyundai has made significant strides with ADAS in the Venue, it’s crucial to note that certain advanced features, such as adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert and avoidance, are not part of the offering.
This strategic decision aligns with Hyundai’s commitment to cost-effectiveness, making the ADAS features of the Venue ideal for city driving rather than extended highway journeys. Currently, the Venue’s ADAS technology operates at Level 1, lacking elements like automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
Beyond ADAS
Beyond the ADAS suite, the Hyundai Venue boasts an array of other safety features, affirming its commitment to comprehensive safety.
This includes up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a rear-view camera, rear parking sensors, and hill-hold assist. These features collectively contribute to making the Venue one of the safest options in its segment.
