Hyundai Registers Astounding Sales Growth in June 2023!

One of the leading carmakers, Hyundai, has recently released its sales report. The carmaker has gained a total sales of 65,601 units in June 2023, which is 5% more than the previous year. Let’s have a look at the sales analysis:

Sales Analysis

The Korean carmaker registered a total sales of 65,601 units in June 2023. These numbers are 5% more than the total sales of 65,351 units in June 2022.

Meanwhile, domestic sales of the carmaker stand at 50,001 units in June 2023. However, in comparison, the carmaker has registered a 2% growth in domestic sales this year than the 49,001 units in June 2022.

The carmaker has registered a significant gain of 16.85% in export sales with a total dispatch of 15,600 units. However, the last export sales of the carmaker stands at 13,300 units in June 2022.

Hyundai currently sells 3 hatchbacks, 2 sedans, 4 SUVs, and 2 electric vehicles. The hatchback portfolio comprises the Grand i10 Nios and the i20. While the sedan has Aura and Verna. The SUV lineup includes Venue, Creta, Alcazar, and Tucson. While the Exter is about to join the carmaker’s portfolio by next month. The Kona and ioniq5 are the current electric vehicles on sale in India.

About Upcoming Hyundai Exter

The Hyundai Exter is a sub-4 meter micro-SUV positioned between Venue and Grand i10 Nios. The Exter is based on the k1 platform which shares its underpinnings with other siblings like Aura and Nios. The Exter will get the standard 6-Airbags, dual dashcam, etc. like safety features. Moreover, it features a parametric grille, projector headlights, alloys, an infotainment system, and digital instrument cluster, etc.

However, the Exter will receive the same 1.2L petrol and CNG engines which powers the Grand i10 Nios, Aura, i20, and Venue. The Exter will get the options of a 5-Speed Manual and AMT transmission. We can expect that the Exter will be priced between Rs. 6 to 11 Lakhs Ex-showroom bracket. Hyundai will launch the Exter on the 10th of July 2023 and compete with Ignis, Punch, Magnite, Kiger, and Fronx.
