Hyundai Motor India Limited Achieves Strong Sales in July 2023

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), the country’s leading smart mobility solutions provider and the largest exporter, achieved impressive sales figures in July 2023, totaling 66,701 units. This milestone includes domestic sales of 50,701 units and exports of 16,000 units.

Mr. Tarun Garg, the COO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd.,expressed his delight at the July 2023 sales numbers. He mentioned that the company’s domestic sales of over 50,000 units were mainly driven by their robust SUV portfolio. The addition of the Hyundai EXTER to their already strong SUV lineup, featuring popular models like Creta, Venue, Venue N-Line, Tucson, Alcazar, KONA Electric, and the all-electric SUV Iconiq 5, has significantly contributed to this success. Furthermore, with the semiconductor supply issues mostly resolved, the company is gearing up for the upcoming festive season in India, starting with Onam in Kerala.
