Hyundai Alcazar Facelift to Come Soon

The highly anticipated Hyundai Alcazar facelift is gearing up for a mid-2024 launch, following closely on the heels of the updated Creta.

Set to hit the markets by May or June, this facelift marks the third SUV launch from Hyundai this year, following the upcoming release of the Creta N Line.

Aesthetic Changes

The prototype sightings of the revamped Hyundai Alcazar have stirred excitement among automotive enthusiasts. Notable design changes include a fresh set of alloy wheels and a potential sleek LED light bar at the rear, connecting the wraparound LED tail lamps.

This design tweak could replace the existing thick chrome strip, offering a more contemporary appearance. Similar to the upcoming Creta facelift, we anticipate visual revisions to the front fascia, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.

Interior Enhancements

While specific details about the interior upgrades remain undisclosed, expectations are high for feature additions in the refreshed Hyundai Alcazar. Enthusiasts can look forward to potential inclusions such as the ADAS suite, new upholstery options, and a 360-degree camera.

The current model already boasts an impressive array of features, including a panoramic sunroof, wireless chargers, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, TPMS, BlueLink connectivity, and ventilated front seats.

Unchanged Powertrain

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is expected to maintain its robust performance with no alterations to the powertrain. The familiar 160hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine and the 115hp, 1.5-liter diesel engine from the Creta will continue, both compliant with BS6 Stage II emissions norms. The reliable manual and automatic gearboxes are also likely to remain unchanged.

Price Adjustment and Competition

While we anticipate a slight price increase on select variants of the Alcazar facelift, further details are expected to surface closer to the mid-2024 launch date.

Competing with models like the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700, the Alcazar remains a formidable contender in its segment.

Verdict

The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar is poised to elevate its already remarkable foundation. With anticipated styling improvements, safety features, and a technology-rich interior, it is set to establish new standards in the segment.

Maintaining its dependable engines and versatile transmission options, the Alcazar presents a comprehensive package for individuals seeking a fusion of luxury and performance.
