Honda to increase car prices from April 1

Honda Siel Cars India will be increasing the prices of their cars by 2-3% from April 1. The company is attributing the price hike to the rise in the prices of commodities. The prices will be increased across the board except for the company’s 2011 Accord sedan, which was introduced only recently.

Increasing commodity prices have been putting pressure on the auto industry for quite a while now, and most carmakers have been making sounds about them having to raise the prices eventually. GM India is also geared to raise prices of their cars, and after Honda’s announcement, we can only expect the rest of the carmakers to follow suit. So as we had told you earlier, book you car now if you want to save a few bucks.
