Honda to export bikes to Nepal and Bangladesh

Honda Motor Company are set to boost their exports from the country in near future. Honda Motor Company is planning to set up export hub in India and export their bikes to Nepal and Bangladesh. Mr. Tatsuhiro Oyama, Chief Operations Officer of Honda Motor Company said that the company was looking to set up base in India from where they would take care of their exports.  He also said that India has potential to attain a numero uno status when it comes to sales of two wheelers.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India’s line up of commuter bikes consists of 100 cc CB Twister , 125cc CB Shine, CBF Stunner and 150cc Unicorn and Dazzler. Honda has an installed capacity of 22 lakhs vehicles per year from its 2 plants,  and is all set to set up its third Indian plant at Bangalore. The company is currently studying markets of South America, South Africa and other ASEAN countries for exports.
