Hero Delists XPulse 200T 2V From Official Site

The launch of the XPulse 200T with Hero’s newer, more powerful 4-valve motor took place on the 22nd of December. Following this, the company has now delisted the older 200T running on the 2-valve head engine from their official website.

Why Delisted?

The 2-wheeler manufacturer would likely phase out the older version and completely replace it with the 4V-engined model. The company hasn’t confirmed the exact details regarding its move yet. Although, we expect Hero to follow a similar path with the 200T 2v as they did with the ADV derivative.

Hero introduced the XPulse back in 2019 and with time, the company updated its adventure-centric sibling with the 4-valve engine. But the road-spec tourer was yet to receive the more powerful engine. The addition of the 4-valve powertrain has resulted in a slight bump in power and torque figures of both bikes.

The power curve is now more evenly spread out across the entire rev band. This has made attaining and holding higher speeds easier giving a more free-revving and vibration-free ride.

Other Changes

Matt Funk Lime Yellow paint scheme

Talking about other changes to the newer 200T with the updated 4V engine, there are just a few differences. The manufacturer has presented the motorcycle in a fresher avatar as it now comes with three new dual-tone paint jobs. These are Sports Red, Matt Funk Lime Yellow, and Matt Shield Gold.

The Sports Red and Matt Shield Gold paint scheme also has its cylinder heads in red and bronze respectively. Similarly, the update also gets the XPulse’s touring version a small fly-screen painted in the corresponding paint scheme.

Compared to its older version, the 4V gets some additional bits including fork cover gaiters, a visor, and new graphics. The circular full-LED headlamp with a chrome ring enhances the looks of the neo-retro-styled motorcycle.

Other Changes to the updated XPulse 200T 4V

Notably, based on customer feedback, Hero has lowered the headlamp by 20mm to improve the bike’s throw and visibility. Its fuel tank and body panels remain unchanged along with 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.

Under its newer seat, it comes with a USB charger. Apart from the wider rear tyre, all other mechanicals including the 5-speed gearbox remains unchanged.
