Harley-Davidson India today held the Grand Finale of Harley Rock Riders Season IV at Mehboob Studio- Mumbai. The finale saw high octane performances by Shaair n Funk, Junk Yard Groove, Overhung and the 3 finalist bands from the Find Your Freedom Contest – Harley-Davidson’s nationwide hunt for the best upcoming rock band in the country.
The finale kicked off this evening with the 3 finalist bands battling it out for a chance to be crowned Harley-Davidson Band of the Year 2014 and for a spot at the European Bike Week 2014 in Austria. Motorcycle enthusiasts were in for a surprise as the brand new touring motorcycle Rushmore-Street Glide was unveiled in front of thousands of fans. The three headlining bands then brought the house down belting out power packed sets and giving fans a taste of true Harley-Davidson culture.

Six cities, 22 bands and three months of head banging power packed rock music and hundreds of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles is how Harley Rock Riders-IV can be summed up. This year Harley Rock Riders-IV started its journey in Pune followed by roaring performances at Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi and Delhi before finally bringing the house down at Mumbai tonight. Paying tribute to 110 years of freedom and joining the yearlong global celebrations of Harley- Davidson’s 110th anniversary, the theme for Harley Rock Riders Season IV this year was ‘FREEDOM’.
The focus of this initiative is to inspire an organic rock music culture in India by encouraging promising indigenous rock bands and providing them a unique platform to showcase their abundant talent. On the back of the fantastic response received in Season I, II and III from rock music aficionados and Harley enthusiasts from across the country. This year the annual jamboree travelled through six cities Pune, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Delhi and finally to Mumbai
