BMW Group has announced changes in its top level management. For the Indian arm of the BMW Group, the company has appointed Frank Schloeder as the acting President, replacing Philipp von Sahr. Philipp von Sahr will assume the executive position at BMW Group in Berlin. Frank Schloeder, currently Director Marketing at BMW India will take on as the acting President of BMW Group India from 1 May 2016.
During the tenure of Philipp von Sahr as President, it is said that BMW Group India successfully stood ground in a fiercely competitive environment and maintained its momentum in the Indian luxury car market. With the new position, Philipp von Sahr, will head BMW Niederlassung in Berlin, Germany.
Frank Schloeder was born on 14 November 1974 in Trier, Germany. He completed International Studies in Business Administration from University of Munster, Germany and Montpellier Business School, France. He began his career with BMW in France in 1997.
