Were we more men when we were kids? Frankly, ask yourself this question. We loved the vehicles because of their sheer size and performance. Now, the first thing we try and dig out of the internet is what is the average that a car provides. Men, by birth, are thirsty for power but are tamed down by the society. But, every now and then, there comes an SUV that tingles the power craving in every man. One such provocative machine was introduced in the Brazilian market by Ford – the Troller T4. The design was based on the brand concept shown at the last Motor Show in São Paulo. The Troller T4 sheds very less in terms of design that was showcased as the concept.
Externally, the Troller T4 sports wide fenders, bigger bonnet and 17 inch aluminium wheels. The SUV is powered by a 3.2-litre diesel engine that transmits the power to all the four wheels through six speed manual gearbox. The exact power figures have still not been disclosed by the company. The SUV also gets the “sky-roof”, a two paned windows that provides illumination of the cabin. The overall package also includes adjustable crossbars and a spoiler on the rear cover with integrated brake-light. The details of the inside of the SUV were not disclosed.
Expressing his views about the new product, Wilson Vasconcellos Son, Executive Sales, Marketing and Service, Troller said, “The consumer wins a new generation Troller without losing its rich heritage, its DNA. Rare and very few vehicles in the Brazilian market segment have an impressive powertrain as the New Troller T4. Soon, we demonstrate the practical advantages of this vehicle.”
The Troller T4 looks like a promising product and we can’t wait to get our hands on one. However, the company has not made any official announcement about this 4X4 SUV hitting the Indian shores any time soon.
