Firefox to present its new ‘Kompac’ bike at the Auto Expo

Leisure bike maker Firefox, announced that it will unveil its latest foldable bike model- Kompac. Joining the Kompac at the stage will be the entire range from the company. The 24 inches foldable new bike will come along with a price tag of Rs. 8.840.

Mr. Shiv Inder Singh, Managing Director, Firefox Bikes, said, ‘Kompac is being introduced for a specific niche segment of bikers who love to go off-road and explore the adventure of mountains but find difficult to carry it.” He further added, ‘In tandem with the Auto Expo 2010 eco-friendly theme, Firefox will display its extensive collection of bikes and cycling accessories this year to woo budding cyclists.”

The company had earlier announced plans to launch 15 new models by March 2010 and will also open 20 outlets across the country, in addition to 50 at present. The company has recorded sales of over 45,000 units since 2005 and is currently retailing 40 models. Firefox is also the sole distributor of the U.S based Trek Bikes in India.
