In some news that will bring cheer to fans of L-twins and all things Italian, Ducati has started setting up dealerships in India. Although they were expected to be here in the latter half of 2015, an under construction dealership that displays a large poster of the Panigale has been spotted in Gurgaon.
The facility, located in Sector-34 Gurgaon, is next to the dealership of Indian Motorcycles. Apparently, the dealership was to be inaugurated on the 26th of January and according to the report, the Italian bike maker was to commence operations from that very day. It also mentions that the facility will incorporate a display and sales area along with a dedicated service center. AMP motors, the folks who also own JLR showrooms in New Delhi and Gurgaon are reportedly the ones who managed to bag the Ducati franchise.
This time around, Ducati should ideally make its entire international line up available in India, which includes the recently unveiled Scrambler, Monster, Hypermotard, Panigale, Diavel, Multistrada and the Streetfighter. Prices for the most affordable Ducati, the Scrambler, is speculated to start from Rs 7-8 lakh.
