The Chevrolet Sail since its launch in India has been sailing in rough waters, sales reports show anchored numbers for the sedan. Now in an attempt to make it sea-worthy again, Chevrolet has face-lifted the car and a website in China has managed to snap a few pictures of the vehicle.
Changes have been made at the front, to the bumper, the grille and the headlights, which seem to have taken some design cues from Hyundai’s Verna. The car sports new alloys and larger mirrors. At the back, the licence plate housing takes the ladder to place itself on the boot-lid. Tail-lights are differently designed, making the rear look much better now than the older version.
On the inside, the instrument cluster now features chrome, encircling the twin meters, which finds it way to the a/c vents as well. The center console features a new audio system and the steering wheel features silver accents. No other details are available yet which suggest any mechanical change. If this facelift makes it’s way to India, it will be interesting to see if the new model is able to sail it’s way through a storm called ‘Dzire’?
