Seen here is the Alfa Romeo 4C rivaling Hyundai PassoCorto concept, which has been envisioned by Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) and will be put on display at the fast approaching Geneva Auto Show early next month.
The new Hyundai PassioCorto concept has been commissioned by Hyundai Design Center, Europe, and represents “a tribute to the Made in Italy design that is studied at the IED.“
The new Hyundai PassoCorto is a rear mid-engined two-seater lightweight sportscar that has the following dimensions-: 4100mm X1880mm X 1160mm (LXWXB). The concept has a wheelbase of 2450mm.
The concept vehicle’s name translated into “short wheelbase” in Italian and has been imagined to have a carbon fiber monocoque chassis. This leads to a kerb weight of just 840 kgs and the PassoCorto is powered by a 4 cylinder, twin-turbo 1.6-liter petrol engine that has a max power of 270 bhp.
The new Hyundai PassoCorto concept will greet the show goers at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, albeit, on a 1:10 scale.
