The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been spotted several times in the production ready avatar but this time, one of our readers has sent us detailed images of the motorcycle which reveal few more details. But most importantly, and to our pleasant surprise, our reader confirmed that this upcoming Pulsar will be equipped with fuel injection! Other details that are revealed through these spy images are:
- RS stands for Race Sport
- The RS200 would receive MRF Zapper – S tyres
- ABS equipped models would receive “ABS” printed on the front fender
- Pulsar RS200 will also get KTM like steel braided brake lines
The Pulsar RS200 will receive a set of MRF Zapper – S tyres which, the tyre maker claims, is of a sticky compound and provides better stability, sharp cornering capability, good maneuverability, good traction and wet traction. A KTM like steel braided brake wire can also be seen in the photographs.
The Turkey spec Pulsar RS200 details were revealed a few days ago and considering that this upcoming Pulsar motorcycle will benefit from fuel injection, expect to see similar power output as seen on the Turkish motorcycle. The engine on the Turkey spec Bajaj Pulsar RS200 delivers 24.4 PS power at 9,500 rpm and 18.6 Nm torque at 8,000 and we expect to see similar power figures on the India spec Pulsar as well.
