Audi India has released the sales report for the Q1 of 2023. In this report, Audi has registered a sales growth of 126% in Q1 alone. This growth is the strongest Q1 sales for the brand in the past 6 years. The brand’s sales represent the stunning growth and commitment of the brand toward premium mobility.
Analysis of Audi India’s Growth
Recently, Audi India has established a tremendous growth of 126% in the first quarter of 2023. The 4-rings brand says that the SUVs are contributing to over 60% of their growth. Moreover, Audi sold over 1950 new cars which are more than 852 units last year. And the Audi Approved Plus accounts for 50% of the overall growth of the brand.
The presence and portfolio of Audi
Audi India continues the expansion of its pre-owned car business, Audi Approved: plus, in India. Currently, the brand is operating 22 showrooms across all major hubs in the country. However, the brand will open 3 more showrooms by the end of 2023.
Audi India boasts the strongest portfolio of SUVs comprising the Q3, Q3 Sportback, Q5, Q7, Q8, and RSQ8. The brand also offers a slew of electric vehicles like the e-tron 50, e-tron 55, e-tron Sportback 55, e-tron GT, and RS e-tron GT. The brand says that the demand for sedans and sports cars is quite strong in India. The line-up consists of the A4, A6, A8 L, S5 Sportback, and RS5 Sportback.
The price update
The brand is on the verge of increasing the prices of its cars by 2.4%. The latest price hike will be effective from May 1, 2023. The carmaker will increase the prices of Q3 and Q3 Sportback by 1.6%, while the prices of Q8 celebration, S5, and RS5 will be hiked by 2.4%.
