Quick Overview:
- Audi India achieves milestone of 6,500+ charging points across the country
- ‘Charge my Audi’ offers seamless integration via the myAudiConnect app
- Initiative boosts convenience for luxury EV owners and strengthens India’s EV ecosystem
Audi India is shifting gears in the electric mobility space, and it’s doing so with charging cables in hand. The brand has officially crossed the 6,500 charging point milestone under its ‘Charge my Audi’ initiative, making it one of the largest luxury EV charging networks in the country.
Charge my Audi
Integrated within the myAudiConnect app, the ‘Charge my Audi’ feature allows EV owners to find, access, and navigate to compatible chargers across India. In collaboration with charging infrastructure providers like Aargo EV Smart, ChargeZone, Relux Electric, Bolt.Earth, and others, Audi aims to eliminate the one big EV hesitation—charging anxiety.
At present, Audi’s EV portfolio in India includes the e-tron 50, e-tron 55, e-tron Sportback, Q8 e-tron, Q8 Sportback e-tron, and the RS e-tron GT. Each of these models comes with a complimentary charging device and installation, making the switch to electric not just premium, but also plug-and-play. And for those worrying about range, Audi already offers complimentary charging across select networks for the first year.

The network now spans across key metros, Tier 1, and select Tier 2 cities. The goal? To bring reliable fast-charging infrastructure to where the customer needs it, not just where it’s easiest to install.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, commented, “The success of our ‘Charge my Audi’ initiative underscores our commitment to customer convenience and to building a robust EV ecosystem in India. As we expand our EV portfolio, supporting infrastructure is key to seamless adoption.”
In terms of rivals, Mercedes-Benz currently offers access to its own growing network of high-speed chargers and tie-ups with third-party providers. BMW too is steadily expanding its EV footprint with the iX, i7, and i4. However, Audi’s 6,500+ point network gives it a noticeable edge, especially in the luxury segment.
Final Thoughts
In the age of range paranoia and charger-hunting panic, Audi’s move is less of a flex and more of a power play—literally. With luxury buyers warming up to electric mobility, the race isn’t just about sleek EVs, but about who can keep the batteries topped up without detours. And right now, Audi’s definitely not running on empty.
