Audi India has finally launched the new Audi Q3 Sportback at a starting price of Rs 51.43 lakh (ex-showroom). Those interested can book the new Sportback online or at authorized Audi dealerships for a sum of Rs 2 lakh.

The Q3 Sportback is basically a coupe version of the regular Audi Q3 SUV. The Q3 Sportback is available in a single top-of-the-line ‘Technology’ variant with the S Line styling pack as standard.

The Q3 Sportback gets a price hike of a little over one lakh rupees than the standard Q3 Technology variant. Here’s all about the Coupe-SUV in detail.

Apart from the coupe roofline, the Q3 Sportback gets five-spoke V-style 18-inch alloy wheels, & a large front-grille with honeycomb-pattern. With the S Line styling pack as standard, the SUV also comes equipped with a contrasting gloss-black roof.

The silver skid plates on its front and rear, LED headlamps, & split LED tail lights have been carried forward. It also gets triangular-shaped air intakes with a silver finish on either side of the front grille.

The new Q3 Sportback Coupe-SUV is 4,518mm long, 1,843mm wide & 1,558mm tall. This makes it 36mm longer, 6mm narrower, and 49mm shorter than the standard Q3 SUV. The model is available in five colours including Turbo Blue, Glacier White, Chronos Grey, Mythos Black, and Navarra Blue.

Stepping inside the cabin, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen sits on the dashboard of the Q3 Sportback. It also comes with navigation and digital driver display. Interestingly, customers can now choose between two interior colour options including Okapi Brown and Pearl Beige.

The Sportback shares the engine-gearbox combination with the standard model. It is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI turbo-petrol engine that’s good for a maximum power of 187bhp and 320Nm of torque.

A 7-speed dual-clutch transmission comes as standard, and the power is transmitted to all-4 wheels via Audi’s Quattro AWD system. Audi claims that the Q3 accelerates from 0-100kmph in just 7.3 seconds before topping off at a speed of 220kmph.
