The LED headlight is similar to that of the TVS iQube, adds a touch of modernity. With integrated indicators and a sleek tail-lamp, the Rizta is a stylish modern EV. The spacious long seat, coupled with a redesigned chassis and a total combined storage capacity of 56 litres ensures a comfortable and ergonomic riding experience for both rider and pillion.
Performance and Handling
Weighing in at 119kg, the Ather Rizta strikes a perfect balance between agility and stability on the road. Equipped with 12-inch wheels and a meticulously tuned suspension system, the Rizta offers precise handling and smooth maneuverability in urban environments. The inclusion of traction control, a first in the Indian EV scooter segment, enhances safety and stability, especially during challenging road conditions. The Rizta gets two riding modes – Zip and SmartEco – with the former being the mode that gives you full performance and the latter gives you maximum range. Along with these modes, features like reverse, hill-hold and Magic Twist are also included.
Battery Options and Range
Customers have the choice between two battery packs: a 2.9kWh variant and a 3.7kWh variant, catering to different range requirements. The 2.9kWh pack offers a claimed range of 123km, while the 3.7kWh pack extends the range to an impressive 160km. Both battery packs are IP67 certified and provide reliable performance in varied weather conditions. Additionally, the Rizta features 400mm of water wading ability.
Variants and Pricing
The Ather Rizta is available in two variants: S and Z. The S variant, priced at Rs 1.10 lakh, comes with a 2.9kWh battery pack, while the Z variant offers the choice between the 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh battery capacities, priced at Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 1.45 lakh, respectively. Bookings are now open at authorized Ather dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to commence in July.
