Bengaluru-based e-scooter startup Ather displays its commitment towards the use of clean and sustainable energy by powering various green initiatives. One such initiative is the Green Ride wherein fitness icon Milind Soman embarks on a solo multi-city cycle ride.
In the second edition of the green ride powered by Ather, the actor will be cycling from Mumbai to Mangalore. Here we will see Milind covering a whopping 1400-km & traveling across 10 major cities in just 8 days.
About Green Ride 2.0
The supermodel & fitness icon started off on the 19th of December and will continue till the 26th. The 10 cities covered en route will be Mumbai, Pune, Karad, Kolhapur, Belgaon, Shegaon, Hirebennur, Tumkuru, Mysore, and Mangalore.
The actor will visit solar energy plants along his journey while performing plantation drives. Soman will also be meeting up with local NGOs with a commitment of having a cleaner & sustainable environment.
Back in December 2021, the first edition of this initiative took place. That time the supermodel cycled to the nation’s capital from Mumbai, a 1000-km long journey. Cycling around 150-odd kilometers a day, he promoted the use of cleaner fuel and a healthy lifestyle to tackle pollution.
