25,000th Porsche Panamera rolls out

25,000 units in ten months might not sound like a big number for a carmaker these days, does it? But when the carmaker in question is a niche producer like Porsche, then 25,000 units of a totally new model sold( globally) in only ten months, does deserve an applause! The Panamera was undoubtedly one of the most ridiculed car of recent times when it was under development. But tons of people changed their mind after testing/driving the vehicle and this fact is evident with the phenomenal sales numbers that the German carmaker has achieved.

The 25,000th model rolled out of Porsche’s Leipzig factory in the State of Saxony. Draped in a stunning ruby-red, the 25,000th Panamera is fitted with a 3.6-litre, six-cylinder, 300hp engine and will be delivered to a customer in the USA. “The benchmark performance of our Panamera V6 models wins over our customers worldwide. Even in the USA, a country with a preference for V8 engines, they impress with their efficiency and sportiness. The 4-door combines these aspects with the comfort and exclusivity of the luxury class,” says Porsche Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing Bernhard Maier.
