Yamaha has launched the 2025 version of its renowned YZF R15 in Indonesia, bringing a few notable updates to the popular small-size sport bike. The new model introduces smartphone connectivity, a feature that was already present in the Indian variant. It also debuts a new full-black color option.
Enhanced Features and Design

The updated R15 comes equipped with advanced features such as traction control, a quick shifter, a slipper clutch, and dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle also boasts a fully digital instrument cluster that provides periodic maintenance reminders, ride tracking, and onboard diagnostics.
Performance and Specifications
Powering the R15 is a 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with variable valve actuation technology. This engine delivers 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm of torque and is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The bike is built on a Deltabox frame, supported by 17-inch wheels, USD forks, and a monoshock rear suspension. Braking is managed by a single disc at both the front and rear. The R15 features an 11-liter fuel tank and weighs just 141kg.

In India, the Yamaha R15 is priced between Rs. 1.83 lakh and Rs. 1.98 lakh, ex-showroom.
