TVS Motor Company has flagged off its hunt for the next generation of racers. The selection trials for the 2025 edition of the PETRONAS TVS India One Make Championship will kickstart from May 9 at the Madras International Circuit in Chennai.

The racing platform, which has helped nurture over 3000 racers since 1994, is now inviting fresh entries across four categories—TVS Young Media Racer Program (YMRP), TVS Women’s One Make Championship (OMC), TVS Rookie OMC, and the premier TVS RR310 OMC.

One Make Championship categories

Each category caters to a different set of racers:

  • YMRP is strictly invite-only and tailored for media professionals under 30
  • Women’s OMC welcomes racers under 40 with Level 1 FMSCI certification
  • Rookie OMC targets young guns aged 15 to 21, with a guardian in tow and a racing license in hand
  • RR310 OMC is for experienced racers under 30 who’ve already stood on at least one podium

All trials will happen at MIC between May 9–11, with each category slotted on a different day.

Participants will ride on race-spec versions of TVS Apache motorcycles. The Rookie and Women’s categories will use tuned Apache RTR 200s, while the RR310 racers will get access to a souped-up Apache RR 310—a machine that’s already proven itself on track. Safety, of course, isn’t left to chance. TVS will provide FIM-certified suits, helmets, and even Alpinestar airbag jackets.

With rivals like Honda India Talent Cup and the IDEMITSU Honda Racing Academy also in play, TVS continues to be one of the few Indian manufacturers offering a structured ladder into motorsports.
