Mahindra and Mahindra will launch the 2018 XUV500 Facelift in India and we’re at the event to bring you all the LIVE updates. Before the launch event begins, let us give you a overview of the new XUV500 Facelift.
As reported earlier, the 2018 Mahindra XUV500 Facelift will receive a mild performance upgrade and will be tuned to deliver 155 hp (+15 hp) of maximum power, 360 Nm (+30 Nm) of peak torque from the 2.2-litre diesel engine. All the variants, except the base W5, can be purchased with the optional automatic transmission. However, the AWD Automatic will only be available in W11 (Optional) variant. Mahindra will also offer a petrol powered version of the XUV500 which will only be available with automatic transmission.
The upcoming SUV will be available in five diesel variants and one petrol version:
- W5 Diesel
- W7 Diesel
- W9 Diesel
- W11 Diesel
- W11 (Optional) Diesel
- G Petrol
The revised fascia will feature a new grille with chrome garnishing, updated twin-pod projector headlights with LED DRLs and new fog lamp surrounds. The rear bumper, tail gate and tail lights have also been tweaked on the upcoming facelift.
The SUV will be available in seven colour options:
- White
- Silver
- Brown
- Purple
- Black
- Red
- Copper
