TVS has silently rolled out the new 2016 Scooty Pep Plus. The scooter, primarily targeted to the fairer sex, now comes with an updated set of colours and graphics (11 in total), TVS’s Eco Thrust Engine with multicurve ignition system, high-rigidity micro alloy chassis, a mobile charger socket, side-stand alarm and a five year extended warranty.
Technical specifications remain unchanged and the new 2016 Scooty Pep Plus continues to draw power from a 87.8cc four stroke single cylinder forced air-cooled motor churning out 5 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 5.8 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. The motor returns a claimed fuel economy of 65 km to a litre. TVS also promises a 60 Minute Express Service, although for select cities, where owners can quickly and thoroughly get their Scooty Pep Plus serviced within 60 minutes.
