We have been regularly reporting about the developments associated with the new Chevrolet Corvette C7 and the car has finally been unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show 2013.
The Corvette C7 has been long awaited and what we have here are a handful of press shots released by the automaker soon after the official unveiling recently.
As keen Corvette followers would have had made it out by now, the C7 draws inspiration from the 2009 Corvette Stingray Concept and don’t you totally love what you see?
On the inside, the car comes with a driver focused dashboard layout with a big multi media screen taking the centre stage. The interiors are draped in red leather and come sprinkled up on with carbon fibre.
The Corvette C7 can easily be said to be the most advanced ‘vette ever and GM is banking heavily on the benefits of using exotic materials like carbon fibre and magnesium.
Powering the all new Corvette C7 is a 450bhp-609Nm V8 motor that enables the car to dismiss 100kmph from standstill in less than 4 seconds.
Cylinder deactivation technology, which is now fast becoming popular, means more than 11kmpl and low emissions to keep the green brigade happy.
