Popular American car maker Buick has unveiled the all new 2014 Buick LaCrosse at the ongoing 2013 New York Auto Show. The Buick LaCrosse sedan gets added features and a host of changes for the 2014 Model Year. All models will feature Buick’s QuietTuning engineering process that reduces, blocks and absorbs unwanted noise from the cabin.
“We evolved the interior and exterior design, increased luxury amenities and materials, and enhanced the safety and personal technologies to give customers more reasons than ever to rediscover Buick,” said Tony DiSalle, U.S. vice president of Buick Marketing.
The 2014 Buick Lacrosse gets the Ultra Luxury Interior Package for the interiors and buts like DRLs, LED wraparound tail lamps and other new exterior design curs. The interiors are loaded with features such as IntelliLink system with voice recognition. Safety features on offer include Side Blind Zone Alert, Lane Departure Alert, Collision Alert and Rear Cross Traffic Alert among others. The car also gets seats which vibrate to signal on chances of a crash. The car’s Adaptive Cruise Controls can sense traffic ahead and adjust the speed accordingly.
The interior package includes Sangria seating color and Ebony accents, with semi-aniline leather seats and trim, along with Shadow Tamo Ash wood décor.
“The warm color combinations, premium interior materials and advanced technology in the 2014 LaCrosse provide the interior environment our discerning luxury customers are seeking,” said Ven Lai, Buick creative designer for color and trim.
The 2014 Buick LaCrosse will be sold in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants and will offers two powertrains: a 2.4L engine with eAssist light electrification technology and a 3.6L direct-injected V-6. Both the motors are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
