Based on the Elite i20, the India specific Active will feature a slightly raised ride height and new front and rear bumpers featuring prominent, round fog lamps, as well as scruff plates. The front air dam has also become bigger and bolder. It will also receive full body cladding, Euro-spec headlamps with projectors/DRLs, new alloy wheels & tires and a pair of roof rails, apart from minor changes in interior trim.

Power is expected to be delivered by the same engine options – 1.2-litre Kappa2 petrol and 1.4-litre CRDi diesel, both sourced from the Elite i20 hatchback. The 1.2 litre petrol engine is likely to deliver 82 hp of power and 114.7 Nm of torque while the 1.4 litre diesel motor will churn out about 89 hp of power and 220 Nm of torque.
