STEP 3 – Bulk Charge : Once the health of the battery is established, charging begins with maximum current to charge the to approximately 80% of its capacity.

STEP 4 – Absorption, battery ready to use : At this point, the battery can be used to crank the engine. Hereon, charging continues with declining current to top the battery up to 100% capacity.

STEP 5 – Analyse : This step analyzes if the battery can hold charge. Batteries that cannot hold charge may need to be replaced.

STEP 6 – Recondition : This step tries to recondition and make useable again deeply discharged batteries.

STEP 7- Float, battery fully charged : The battery voltage is maintained at its maximum level by providing a constant voltage charge.
